When he’s not in the office working, you can find Dr. Mike working out, running, or on his bike. You might even catch him in a CrossFit competition or coaching at one of the local CrossFit gyms.
Before moving here, he ran as a captain for Athletes Serving Athletes in Maryland where he gave individuals with disabilities an opportunity to train and compete in mainstream races, and he hopes to start a similar organization in this area someday. He is a big New York Giants fan during football season and probably sings too much country music. (Feel free to let him know. He is always up for a good laugh!). Other fun facts about Dr. Mike: he can’t open a jar of peanut butter without finishing it and if you want to hear a story about a pogo stick on Christmas, ask how his braces saved his front teeth!
He and his wonderful wife Liana love exploring new restaurants and enjoying the great outdoors together – so if you know of any must-see hikes, places to eat, or outdoor activities nearby, be sure to let him know! They also have an adopted pup named Gus who comes on many of their adventures. Dr. Mike is fairly new to the area, so please help us by giving him a very warm welcome. He’s excited to be a Connecticut resident now and looks forward to getting to know you!
