10 Reasons We Don't Use Color Bands on Braces

Today we get to celebrate Caitlin’s birthday! 🙂 🙂

Caitlin is one of the most distinguishable people on our clinical team due to her incredible excitement and enthusiasm. She puts the sunshine in our mornings every day with her unparalleled energy. Seriously, she should bottle it and sell it; she’d make a killing. Caitlin’s the one you see dancing around the clinic, doing impersonations, singing songs, or multitasking like an octopus! She’s also the one with the coolest little sneakers on and she may or may not be talking with a British accent.

There are a lot of other things Caitlin brings to the team besides her very convincing British accent and energy! ? She’s smart and incredibly hard-working. She started here with zero orthodontic knowledge and mastered the role of clinical assistant faster than anyone else we’ve ever had. Caitlin not only has a knack for understanding the mechanics of orthodontics; she also relates and communicates very well with our patients. They leave understanding what’s going on and what to expect with their treatment. Over the years, she’s impressed others in the industry with her knowledge and skill, so much so that this spring she was asked to give a lecture to a jam-packed ballroom full of clinical assistants from around the country! The focus was on how to be a fantastic clinical assistant and team member. She knocked it out of the park!

While many things make Caitlin unique, perhaps the most impressive thing is her memory. Caitlin can hear a song once and pretty much know every single word! Then, she will sing it back to you perfectly in melody. It’s crazy. She knows and can rap probably any 90’s rap song (promise, just ask her!) We wouldn’t ever challenge her to a sing-off because she knows them all AND she can name them faster than Shazam. Last year she had her musical debut on stage at the Damon Forum singing karaoke without even looking at the words! It should come as no surprise that we put her in charge of creating the Koz playlists that are loved by so many of our patients and parents. She’s AMAZING and we’re so glad she chose to join our team!

So, if you’re in for an appointment today, please join us in celebrating Caitlin by wishing her a happy birthday and/or challenging her to a song duel or rap battle!
