10 Reasons We Don't Use Color Bands on Braces

Here at Koz, we place a lot of value on supporting and being active in our community and we are grateful for any opportunity we have to help give back. This year our office is proud to be sponsoring the Purple Heart Poker Run held on May 19, put on by the Guardians of the Purple Heart . This event benefits the Connecticut Combat Wounded Veterans. It’s a 70 mile motorcycle ride that begins and ends at the Bozrah Moose Lodge with stops all throughout eastern Connecticut.

Their goal is to raise awareness for Combat Wounded Veterans, Veteran Suicide, and to connect Veterans with any services they may need.

Kozlowski Orthodontics has chosen to actively support this event because we believe in and support our military families in the area. This is where we live and where many of us grew up, so it means the world to us!  We know that the reason Kozlowski Orthodontics even has the chance to run a business in the private sector is because we have dedicated men and women serving and protecting our country, and we are indebted to this sacrifice they make.

Those wounded in the process of serving and protecting our country should absolutely be recognized and supported and that’s why we’re participating in The Purple Heart Poker Run. Our jobs are easy because we don’t have to put our lives on the line to do them. We want to support the efforts, commitment and dedication of our servicemen and women, and we would like to encourage our awesome patients to do the same.
